Refund policy
RETURNS
Our policy lasts 14 days. If 14 days have gone by after receiving your order, unfortunately we can’t offer you a refund or exchange.All items that are returned for an exchange or refund must be unworn and have their original tags and packaging. Any item not in its original condition, is damaged or missing parts for reasons not due to our error, cannot be exchanged.
RETURN SHIPPING
Please contact info@maxine-jewellery.com prior to sending a return or exchange. We are able to email you an electronic return/exchange shipping label. Print it and put it on the parcel and return your goods.
The buyer is responsible for any return shipping costs. Shipping costs are non-refundable. Depending on where you live, the time it may take for your exchanged product to reach you, may vary. If you are shipping an item back, you should consider using a trackable shipping service or purchasing shipping insurance. We don’t guarantee that we will receive your returned item.
Your return will be processed as soon as possible. We hold the right to deny refunds if the merchandise returned does not meet our return policy requirements. Once your return is received and inspected, we will send you an email to notify you that we have received your returned item. We will also notify you of the approval or rejection of your refund. If you are approved, then your refund will be processed, and a credit will be applied to your original method of payment, within a certain amount of days. We strive to perform such refund within 30 days from receipt of a complaint and finding that a refund shall be made, but this time may be delayed depending on the nature of the product.
LATE OR MISSING REFUNDS
If you haven’t received a refund yet, first check your bank account again.
Then contact your credit card company, it may take some time before your refund is officially posted. Next contact your bank. There is often some processing time before a refund is posted. If you’ve done all of this and you still have not received your refund yet, please contact us at info@maxine-jewellery.com
ORDERING AND REFUNDS
You may withdraw your order until it has been confirmed by us. We will then refund any payment that you, or your pay- or credit card company, have made for the order.
We may cancel an order if the products ordered are sold out. We will then refund any amount paid and notify you about equivalent products if such are available.
All products ordered remain our property until we have received full payment for them.
SHIPPING
Every piece is made to order, this means there will be no overproduction. This is the reason it may take up to 10—workdays for your order to be shipped. Items shipped within the Netherlands usually get delivered within two days, items shipped within Europe can take up to one—two weeks and items shipped to the rest of the world can take up to three weeks.
As it is an Atelier with handcrafted features, we reserve the right, in case of a stock break, to change the deadline. In this case an email will be sent immediately indicating a new deadline.
Covid-19 update: Please be aware that courier delivery time-frames can vary due to the disruption.
INTERNATIONAL SHIPPING
For international orders, a customs duty will be charged to you depending upon the country in which you reside. MAXINE is not responsible for payment of this duty. By law, we cannot change the value of order on commercial invoices. We must adhere to all international import/export laws. If you decide to refuse your shipment, you are responsible for the original shipping charges, any duties, taxes and/or customs charges that are incurred (on both the original and return shipments), and the cost of returning the package.
DELIVERING
Depending on delivery method you may be required to pick up the order at a delivery point. You are required to do so within the time specified in the notification of delivery. If you do not pick up the delivery in time you may be charged a fee and the order may be sent back to us at your expense. We may also cancel the order if the delivery is not picked up in time.
